INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND RECOGNITION


I have been working as a chef for the past 24 years. I have worked with world renowned chefs such as Francis Mallman (in 1996), Alicia Berger (March-October 1997) and Gato Dumas (April-August 1999). I have owned a number of restaurants in Argentina and was also a consultant chef for a number of restaurants in Argentina as well as one in Uruguay.

I also have teaching experience. I have taught in ‘IBAHRS’, one of the leading teaching culinary institutions in the world and done teaching for the Ministry of Employment and Education in Argentina. I have been involved in a number of television shows in Argentina (and one in Australia) and have done various appearances at shopping malls. In 1999 I was the celebrity chef and national face for ‘D’Ecco Pasta’. In 1999, I was in the organizing committee of the International Culinary Festival in Cuba in 1996.

1999 Celebrity chef and national face for D’Cecco Dry Pasta. This is an Italian Pasta which is famous world wide. I appeared in different shopping malls doing cooking shows for D’Cecco Pasta. My promotion for this product coincided with my restaurant Pasta e Basta.


GOVERNMENT APPOINTMENTS


1994 - 1995 Chef de cuisine for special events and receptions at the Consulate of Uruguay in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
1996 Organizer of the International Culinary Festival in Cuba (I was one of the organisers of the Festivals from Buenos Aires but did not attend the Festival in Cuba). I was involved in the organizing of Chefs, Products etc.

1994 - 1995 Teacher with private culinary institute IBAHRS International Buenos Aires Hotel & Restaurant School a joint venture with Hocking College USA.
1995 - 1996 Teaching chef for youth program developed by the Ministry of Employment and Education.
